Kenton Reid started out at eight years old sweeping floors, cleaning glass, and running errands at a local barbershop in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Over the years, he developed a love and respect for the art of cutting hair. The role of barbers in the community has evolved, but for Kenton, it has retained the same demand for skill and precision. Barbers were the first surgeons, dentists, councilors, pharmacists, and even sat on the king’s council. Today, barbers are responsible for the way a person will see themselves and be seen by others. As barbers, there’s no better feeling in the world than the feeling you get when your client looks in the mirror and smiles. That’s why the Topklass mission is to send every customer out the door looking and feeling like a million bucks.
In the early 90’s, Mr. Kenton Reid left Tip Top Barbershop in Montego Bay to work in Kingston at the Upper Barbershop. Soon after, he ventured to Jamaica Queens in NY and then on to Florida. Over the past four decades, Kenton learned everything there is to know about shaving, cutting, trimming, and styling hair. Today, alongside the Top Klass Barbers, Kenton provides professional modern and classic looks to patrons of all ages.
